Pack­ag­ing Day 2018:

Sat­ur­day, Sept 22 the Mount Olive Luther­an Church Fel­low­ship Hall was busy, busy, busy! Vol­un­teers helped assem­bling, bag­ging, seal­ing and pack­ing each of the 50,000 meals into box­es for ship­ping to Chil­dren of the Nations orphan­ages in Haiti, Domini­can Repub­lic, Sier­ra Leone, Ugan­da, Malawi, and oth­er coun­tries where the need is great.

This year’s Feed­ing the 5000 vol­un­teer team, worked to, pack­age, box and pre­pare for ship­ping 50,000 meals.

Thank you to all of you who gave funds, vol­un­teered or par­tic­i­pat­ed in the annu­al Feed­ing the 5000 Pack­ag­ing Day and those who helped through­out the year with recy­cling days, omelet feeds, pota­to feeds and oth­er fundrais­ing events.

2018 is the tenth year of this annu­al event. (Feed 5000 did not pack­age any meals in 2017.) In those 10 years we have pack­aged more than 500,000 meals.
