A Word of Welcome....
We are a member church of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. We've been serving West Valley in Yakima for 60 years. Times may change, but Jesus Christ and His saving grace is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
We welcome all people, whether they are long-time Lutherans, spiritual seekers, or new to this whole idea of Church and Gospel. Come on a Sunday and see for yourself... Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
Pastor Knutson's April Message: "The Word of God Does the Work"
Isaiah 55:10–11
In times of change, it is easy to focus on what feels uncertain. But God directs His people to something steadier than their circumstances: His Word.
Through Isaiah, the Lord promises that His Word never goes out in vain. It does not return empty. It accomplishes His purpose.
That is the confidence of the Church. Not in personalities, plans, or even perfect conditions.
The Church lives by every Word that comes from the mouth of God. His Word creates faith, forgives sins, and strengthens His people. It is living and active, and it continues to do the Lord’s work even when much around us changes.
So the calling of the Church remains simple and clear: gather, listen, pray, and receive what God gives.
The Lord is still speaking.
His promises are still sure.
His Word is still at work.
And that is enough to keep His people steady.

Pastor Knutson's Last Sunday
Sunday, April 19th
April 19th will be Pastor Knutson's last Sunday. After service we will have a farewell BBQ! Burgers will be provided, so please bring a side dish or dessert to share!
Preschool Art Show & Silent Auction
Thursday, April 23rd
4:30-6:00pm
Artwork from our students will be on display and this year, in addition to raffle baskets there will be a silent auction from a variety of businesses in our area. Please come out to show your support!
